Introduction

The Ocean Engineering Graduate Group (OEGG) is part of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of California at Berkeley. However, there are courses offered outside this department. Cal-SNAME woud like to encourage you to seek professional advice from your advisor prior to making any academic decisions.

You want to learn more about marine engineering? There is a lot to know. Berkeley has a good number of graduate and undergraduate classes to offer.

Note: the list is not all-inclusive. Specific degree requirements must be coordinated with the student's academic advisor, approved by the Program's major-field advisor. Also, the list is subject to change. Check UC Berkeley's Schedule of Classes for class availability and specifics.
